The early years:

Roberto Faraone Mennella and Amedeo Scognamiglio are the award winning Designer's behind FARAONE MENNELLA by RFMAS. They draw inspiration for their acclaimed jewelry collections from the classical Italian heritage. The artistic environment of their upbringing along with their eclectic energy, fuel New York City’s pop culture and Fashion society.

Each creation is projected to the future, involuntarily anticipating new trends while embracing eternal classical beauty.

Expanding from the "classic" jewels to everyday wear to the most exceptional one of a kind “Couture” pieces. Faraone Mennella always knows how to surprise and make a statement.

Amedeo Scognamiglio

Amedeo:

Amedeo Scognamiglio’s upbringing is all about jewelry: 6 generations of coral and cameo manufacturers in Torre del Greco. He is also the master-carver and founder of Amedeo, a collection of modern-day Cameos and avant-garde artisan jewels.

Roberto:

Raised I the XVIII family estate by the footsteps of Mount Vesuvio.  Constantly surrounded by beauty and fine arts which he learned to appreciate from his grandmother, Stella. She encouraged and inspired Roberto to pursue a career in Design. He continues five generations of tradition, curating the Faraone Mennella Estate’s heritage and its new ventures, like Faraone Mennella Fiori.

NEW YORK CITY:

The designers’ favorite destination since their high school years, and where Roberto attended Parsons school of Design represents a dream come true: working side by side on a common project, a shared vision of Design, and the infinite potential of a magical place.
